On Wednesday, August 30th, the TriCounty Health Department, DEQ and FLIR Corporation are hosting a free presentation and discussion on a new program to help industry identify and repair leaks using thermal imaging technology. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Uintah Conference Center.  A free catered dinner will be provided.

FLIR representatives will discuss the optical gas imaging technology along with a hands-on demonstration of the infrared (IR) camera. Representatives from UDEQ will discuss a new camera lending program, funded by the 2017 Utah Legislature, known as ULend. ULend will seek to provide industry access to this technology with no out-of-pocket cost. There will also be information about free training opportunities, offered through ULend, for certification on the use the IR camera technology.  More information is available here.
