Mission

The Utah Petroleum Association (UPA) is a voluntary, non-profit petroleum trade association.  Founded in 1958, UPA's mission is to:

• Promote the discovery, development, production, transportation, refining, conservation and marketing of oil and gas in the State of Utah;

• Furnish opportunities for open discussion, lawful interchange of information, and education concerning all facets of the oil and gas industry;

• Accumulate and disseminate information concerning the oil and gas industry;

• Foster the best interests of the public and the industry; and

• Add value through membership to participating companies.
