Refinery Managers' Committee
UPA's Refinery Managers' Committee brings leaders of Utah's five
petroleum refineries together to discuss and act on issues of importance
to the production and distribution of transportation and other fuels in

Refinery Environmental Committee
UPA's Refinery Environmental Committee monitors and acts on air, water &
waste issues affecting Utah's petroleum refineries. Committee Chair: Mike Astin, Holly Refining & Marketing
Oil Shale/Tar Sands Committee
UPA's Oil Shale/Tar Sands Committee's purpose is to promote and work
to advance Utah's oil shale and tars sands industry. Committee Chair:
Tax Committee
UPA's Tax Committee monitors all taxes affecting Utah's oil and gas
industry and works to promote a fair and predictable tax structure that
allows Utah's industry to compete in a level and fair environment. Committee Chair: Bobby Rolston, Anadarko Petroleum
Legislative Committee
UPA's Legislative Committee monitors Utah's State Legislature,
promotes positive initiatives and actively opposes legislation that
would negatively affect the industry. Committee Chair: Eric Dille, EOG Resources
